Australian and French songwriter and artist Etoile finds her footing in the sultry, introspective single “Cuffing Season,” appearing on her upcoming EP this November.
Currently based in London, Etoile immerses herself in a beautifully dark Pop meets bluesy Rock vibe as she merges musical inspiration from artists such as Dusty Springfield, Jeff Buckley, M.I.A and Portishead. Her love for pop culture, surrealism and Spoken Word/Rap intriguingly builds her outward interest in displaying these elements as she’s writing, co-producing and releasing her own original music.
The R&B/Soul single “Cuffing Season” speaks about finding someone to love regardless of how right the relationship is simply because it’s cuffing season. She incorporates catchy melodies, confident lyrics, and enthralling sensual energy that keeps us agreeing with what she says and moving along to the calming vibes.
“Lying on my bed but we fly away/ Can’t contain myself around you/ It’s cuffing season that’s the reason for/ This flirtationship/ The way you’re talking has me wanting this/ Situationship” she sings to a mystifyingly captivating beat.
“Cuffing Season” interestingly leaves us in awe of how powerful her music canbe for new listeners. Stay tuned for Etoile’s upcoming EP available this November!
