What a difference one year can make. Lili Reinhart revealed she’ll be releasing a collection of poems in May 2020.
On a post on her Instagram, the 23-year-old Riverdale actress wrote a heartwarming message to everyone who’s ever followed her journey.
“One year ago, I decided I wanted to share my poetry with the world. It’s scary to reveal a part of myself that I don’t often show, but I like to consider this book as more of a story rather than a confession of thought,” Reinhart wrote with a sneak peek of the book cover.
She continues, “Strangers, songs, films, fictional characters, love in various forms, and of course my own experiences were my inspiration throughout the creation of ‘Swimming Lessons’.”
“This book means a lot to me and I’m very grateful to be in the position to finally share it pre-order link is in my bio if you’re so inclined.”
The poetry book, Swimming Lessons, is what any good poetry would offer: euphoric beginnings of young love, battling anxiety and depression in the face of fame. If you’ve seen her Tumblr page before, it’s a public display of all of her writings from the past year.
