Hayley Kiyoko fans, get ready! 2020 will be going with a bang with many artists announcing they’ll be releasing new music or products. This includes Hayley Kiyoko with a new album titled “I’m Too Sensitive For This Shit.”
In a message on Twitter and Instagram, Kiyoko said to her fans and followers “I find myself constantly discovering who I am while battling new demons. Everyday is something new. Sometimes it’s scary to face head on as it challenges us to be braver.”
She continues, “Soooooo as a tribute to this journey, I’m going to release a collection of songs from now through January. This project is about all of these feelings I’ve been learning to embrace because they are what make me, well, me.”
Up next is the release of the new single “Demons,” which will be released this Friday, October 11.
As if this wasn’t exciting news for the entire Kiyoko fanbase and Hayley Kiyoko, the pop artist will be honored at The Trevor Project Awards. She’ll be receiving the Youth Innovator Award for her advocacy for young LGBTQ people.
“The Trevor Project knows how important it is for LGBTQ young people to see themselves and their identities represented by inspiring young artists like Hayley Kiyoko,” said The Trevor Project’s CEO and executive director Amit Paley. “Hayley embraces her identity as a strength, serving as a role model for LGBTQ youth around the world — we’re so excited to honor her at TrevorLIVE L.A. and celebrate 21 years of saving young LGBTQ lives.”
