Discover the positivity of this technohuman that represents love and consciousness in our exclusive interview with Celiane the Voice, an Electronica Hip Opera artist from the Bay Area, California!
Congratulations on your new single “Systematic”. What’s the single all about?
Systematic is about not giving into the control of your mind. We all have a will and a choice but we need to understand there are consequences of those choices, no matter what we chose. We are love. We were always meant to be but programming and confusion make us forget these things so I wrote a song to let people know they still have a choice.
It’s definitely have created a persona – tell us more about it!
Celiane the Voice is a technohuman that represents love and consciousness. Something that we need at this moment. I come from a time not so far off from yours and I came back to tell everyone that would listen that now is the time to love. Your time still has a chance to move forward together before it is too late.
Was that your intention when you first started creating this song or did it naturally happen on its own?
This song naturally happened on it’s own. It has been in the works for about 3 years. I watch to what is going on and how it effects everyone. I pay attention to what people say and do. I also pay attention to how the programming and confusion works. I simply wanted people to be aware they are more than they think they are.
Are you planning for the music video?
I am planning a music video. I am in the process of creating it as we speak. Humans love visuals so I am working on it. I am hoping it will be quite entertaining.
Catch us up with your life! Are you currently working on any special projects?
I am an anime person, a comicbook person I love these art forms. I am working on performing for Comicons and these genres. I am working on finishing the mini album with my genre and see what artform develops from that. I am also working on a comic book.
How would you describe your sound to someone who just listened to your music for the first time?
Electronica Hip Opera. That is my genre. You will see me put Hip Opera or Hip HOpera sometimes because it floats in and out, but generally it is Dubstep, Hip Hop beat, classical elements and something all around different.
What inspired you to start creating your own music?
I needed to have an outlet to help people release their minds. I have been through the “what the industry wants” and that wasn’t me. So I created a sound to fit me. I wanted my voice to be as important as what the producer creates. But the music didn’t fit me, so I started created my own.
What’s your writing process like?
I let the lyrics come to me. When I have to write, I tell you it is a process but I take time to think what I have to say and how I want to express the thought that is provoking and unique.
Which artists do you mostly identify your music with?
I identify with Daft Punk, Pharrell, Tina Guo, Herbie Hancock, and there are many others and many I would love to collab with to create something wonderful. I just love their ingenuity and grit to create the best and something new to move you.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions! What can fans expect from you this year?
