Interview: Dina Renée Rises Through Independent Pursuits

Today we’re speaking with Independent Pop artist Dina Renée:

Thank you for being with us!  Where are you based and where would you say your fan base is?

I’m based in Los Angeles. According to Spotify my fan base is mostly in the United States

What would you never apologize for?

I spent so many years apologizing for being myself, but these days I try to embrace my flaws. I know my intentions are always good and so I think I would stop apologizing for sticking up for myself or just being myself in general.

Who is your HERO and what does a HERO mean to you?

My mom was my biggest hero. She taught me to be strong, to always try my best, to be forgiving but stand your ground, to be caring and loving above all else.

What exotic location would you most like to visit or perform when COVID is finally over?

Santorini or Ibiza – I’m dying to go to both

How do you juggle the day job and the dream career, or are they one and the same?

It’s hard work being an independent artist. I work many side jobs to invest in my music career. Recently I turned my home into a rentable Photoshoot spot on peerspace. It looks like a Barbie house. I’m also a photographer and makeup artist and I act as well.  I think as long as I’m creating and inspiring others – that’s the goal.
