Check out our newest interview with journalist Jazmin Kylene!
Thank you for being with us! Where are you based and where would you say your fan base is?
Of course, thank you! I am currently based in Miami but I split my time between here and Madrid, Spain. I’ve been blessed enough to cultivate a global audience and reach anyone who is willing to commit to themselves and expand their own consciousness.
What would you never apologize for?
What a beautiful question! I definitely have had to work on over apologizing and owning my truth. I’ll never apologize when it comes to speaking on what matters to me. I’m extremely vocal about the social and racial justice in our country and don’t ever foresee myself apologizing for using my voice.
Who is your HERO and what does a HERO mean to you?
I think a hero is someone who dedicates their time and energy selflessly to help the good of others or the collective. I have so many heroes, big and small scale, but I think watching my mom’s resilience and sacrifice for me has solidified her position as my biggest hero. Oprah is an honorable mention though, haha.
What exotic location would you most like to visit or perform when COVID is finally over?
Definitely Madrid! I miss my family there so much and above all else, I’m just craving being in Europe again. The election alongside the pandemic has made America a stressful place to be in so I’m excited to be somewhere more disconnected.
How do you juggle the day job and the dream career, or are they one and the same?
It’s definitely difficult! I’m still working on mastering time management but holding the vision of the life that I know I’m building for myself is what keeps me motivated.
