Thank you for being with us! Where are you based and where would you say your fan base is?
I am based in the southern rock capital of the world –Macon, Georgia. I have the honor to be the official music ambassador of my home town as appointed by the mayor and city council.
My fan base is all over the world and I have traveled and toured extensively through London and the US. Still haven’t made it to Canada or Australia yet and I got to fix that LOL.
What would you never apologize for?
Well, I suppose one should always be able to admit when they are wrong, so never say never. However, I don’t apologize for having a high standard and work ethic in my music that I adhere to and expect others that work with me to adhere to as well.
Who is your HERO and what does a HERO mean to you?
So many people have inspired me over the years. I could do an entire article on all those people, but I would have to say that first and foremost of my heroes are my wife Jennifer and my Dad Talmadge and Mom Reva.
A hero is someone that beats the odds and survives despite everything being set against them. It is someone that thinks of others with compassion and love when it would be easier to just think of themselves. A hero is someone that loves themselves, but is willing to risk everything for another and a hero is someone that has a great heart, a positive attitude, and is honest and kind.
What exotic location would you most like to visit or perform when COVID is finally over?
That’s a hard one, so many places to explore in our amazing world, but top of the list, the Egyptian pyramids—or Stone Henge!
How do you juggle the day job and the dream career, or are they one and the same?
They are the same. I am in the music business full time, but I do wear a lot of different hats including Producer, Recording engineer, journalist, educator, session musician, touring recording artist, music publisher, radio and TV personality and more!
