Kelly Clarkson is finally going to be on your television screens every day during her own show The Kelly Clarkson Show!
First-week guests included Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres. Clarkson will also lean on her American Idol roots later this month, bringing in judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, original host Ryan Seacrest (but not Brian Dunkleman) and season one runner-up Justin Guarini.
Check out some of the highlights from the week:
The first guest was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who replaced co-star Kevin Hart who was healing from his recent car accident. During the interview Clarkson brought up The Rock’s and Hart’s collaborative movie Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle and its upcoming sequel Jumanji: The Next Level, The Rock’s wedding in Hawaii, and his birthday celebration on set.
Then Clarkson welcomed the one and only, Ellen DeGeneres. As always, Ellen didn’t come empty handed. Ellen brought Clarkson a large picture of herself with a pug, completely surprising her. They sat down to chat about her HUGE surprise for the audience – which ended being a 65 inch TLC Roku TV. It was nothing short of an incredible surprise!
Jennifer Garner and Kelly Clarkson candidly speak about their similar interests and humor. Garner has a variety of chickens, which Clarkson kept begging to have one named after her. They mentioned the first time they met at Hollywood Game Night and they both got ferociously competitive with each other.
Jay Leno, the first television host to interview Kelly Clarkson stopped by for his turn at the interviewee sofa. They discussed the first time they met, his long career in television and his biggest memory of the late John F. Kennedy Jr. Plus, he shares a really funny moment when Prince William and Kate Middleton ended up on his driveway. Watch the preview below!
Chance the Rapper and Jillian Bell joined Kelly Clarkson for a few games including “The Last Chance Game,” where they had to answer questions honestly about the last time they did something. Later, Chance sat down to speak about his relationship with his wife, being a show on Netflix’s new hip-hop talent show Rhythm + Flow, and why he’s still an independent artist.

Wow, its really nice to finally see Kelly on my TV screen, I’ve been anticipating her show since and I’m happy its eventually here. I love the idea of bringing in real popular stars on her first week of the show which will really help pull viewers, I tink that’s the strategy, stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, and the likes are loved by many people and they’ll be intrigued to view the show. I think she will be bringing on other huge stars! I mean, she had “The Rock” as her first big guest! It’s so great!
Wow! I hadn’t previously heard Kelly Clarkson was debuting her own show, but it sounds like she had a real all-star cast for her first week on air!
I don’t watch American Idol anymore these days, or much television at all for that matter, but I remember Kelly Clarkson and her rise to stardom. I think it’s great she is branching out and heading her career in a different direction with a talk show. She always seemed very personable and friendly each time I saw or heard anything of her through the years. I think she will do very well with a daily show.
Thank you for highlighting The Kelly Clarkson Show; I will have to check it out sometime when I get a chance!
Thanks! At least watch one episode and it will have you hooked on watching it again and again. She’s very conversational and isn’t afraid to be herself. Her quick wits and questions make her a really great interviewer and I think her show will last for a long time!

I tried looking for the replays or highlights but I just couldn’t get any that really satisfied my curiosity in itmmthe program. Thanks for sharing all the video parts and that’s what I am going to watch right away. It is saddening to hear about Kevin hart’s accident and I really wish him a quick recovery.
