As part of releasing a new single each month, The Groove Project, returns with the new unwinding single, “Gravity.
“Gravity” is the ninth single released by The Groove Project, which features Armenian pianist, Vahagn Stepanyan. Together, their uniquely inspiring sounds ignite a deep fascination for their music that anticipates the Smooth Jazz / Contemporary Jazz concept album released later this Summer 2020 about a man’s fascination with flight.
The single is inspired by the quote by Michael Cunningham: “The secret of flight is this – you have to do it immediately, before your body realizes it is defying the laws.”
In a way, this quote prepares listeners for the exhilarating sounds they’ll hear in “Gravity.” Each beat can make one feel like we’re about to go on an exciting adventure such as falling out of a plane to skydive. The Groove Project perfectly finds a balance between each instrument and vocal to bring us a relaxing yet thrilling new single.
